With just a couple of days to go before the F1’s rev their engines for the second fixture on the 2010 Formula One World Championship Series, odds are hotting up, as the Australian Grand Prix get underway.
Favourite to win the race, Fernando Alonso is still topping the odds, however has dropped back to $3.25. Alonso is also favourite to set the fastest lap at $3.50 and to finish on the podium at $1.40.

The Ferrari driver is second to Sebastian Vettel in the odds to take pole position with the drivers at $3.30 and $3 respectively. Vettel took the pole position in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa are both at $6 to win the 2010 Grand Prix with the duo at $10 and $7 respectively to set the fastest lap time.
Ferrari and Red Bull are dominating the odds for the winning team at $2.10 and $2.60 respectively. McLaren is third in the market at $5.
HRT is the favourite to have the first car to retire at $2.65 – and after Karun Chandhock’s performance with the team in the Bahrain Grand Prix would be a lucrative wager.
Odds for the winning nationality reveal German as the favourite at $2.35 – with Vettel being the country’s main hope.
